I'm Shashank Kashyap — a data analyst, educator, and the founder of Flexing Data, a learning community dedicated to helping aspiring data professionals break into the industry.

I started Flexing Data because I saw the same gap everywhere: talented, hardworking people who couldn't land data jobs — not because they lacked potential, but because they didn't know which skills actually mattered or how to show them to employers. I built this community to bridge that gap.

Today, Flexing Data helps learners go from zero to job-ready through structured assessments, guided learning paths, real project experience, and a community that holds each other accountable. I believe the best way to learn data is to do data — messy, real-world problems included.

When I'm not building curriculum or mentoring learners, I'm exploring new datasets, building tools that make learning more human, and making sure Flexing Data stays true to what it always was: a place where beginners feel welcome and growth feels possible.
